OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

AllerGuard is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

This is one of the world’s strictest environmental tests for problematic substances in textiles.

Especially in bedding, harmful chemicals can be problematic because the fabric is in contact with the skin for many hours at a time.

Fire safety

AllerGuard products are fire tested according to the strict British standard:

BS EN ISO 12952:2010 Part 1.

This provides extra safety for you and your family and means that all products can be used in hotels, hospitals, care centres, etc.

Medical device – Class I(EUDAMED-registered)

AllerGuard is UKCA marked as a Class I medical device in accordance with the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (UK MDR 2002).

AllerGuard is CE marked as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR) and is registered in EUDAMED.

Hohenstein – Dust mite and allergen barrier

The German Hohenstein Institute has tested AllerGuard’s ability to act as a barrier against house dust, house dust mites and allergens using genuine house dust mite excrement.

Result: 100.00% reduction in allergen content – including in zips, seams and channel welds in duvets.
